has sent a letter to Pope John Paul II, to ask for an apology
to Pagans and to recover stolen sacred lands, property and information: English Version; |

| On August 27th, 1998, our organisation, the "Order Of Strength",
forwarded the appended letter to Pope John Paul II, the leader
of the Roman Catholic Church. As we stated, we are making this
letter public now through this Press Release. |

| We request that you pass on this press release with its appended
letter to all the editorial staffs with whom you are working
so that it can have widespread exposure in the media." |

| Your Holiness, |
| |
| As the elder and speaker of the Order of Strength, I address
you, to introduce our society to you. |
| |
| The Order of Strength has a long history. It has existed for
over 600 years as a secret society of the priestesses and priests
of the ancient pagan tradition of Europe. The members of our
order come from family traditions, many with an oral lineage
passed on for over 2000 years, representing the sacred wisdom
of the indigenous peoples of Europe. In all of these families
there was a female and a male line of priests. Not one of these
families was able to keep both lines of oral tradition alive.
The secret nature of the society became necessary to protect
and to save this ancient knowledge and sacred rites in times
of persecution by the Roman Catholic Church. |

| My name is Amohi Raphael Bastan. My great uncle initiated
me into our family tradition. I work as a godi, as we call our
priests. |
| I have been initiated for nine years now and I am the speaker
of the Order since March 1998. |
| |
| Now, in this Modern Age as we approach a new millennia, when
there is more protection against arbitrariness, murder and the
persecution by your organisations, we decided to re-appear in
public. We are going to share the old knowledge and preach the
Word of Goddess and God and of the joy of life and the unity
with nature and the elements again. |
| |
| So much of our old knowledge is lost because the carriers
were murdered by the Roman Catholic organisations, at a time
in history, when fear of what was different was not tolerated.
We believe that it is time to redress these wrongs and to restore
the balance so that human beings can live together in love, peace
and harmony. |
| |
| A great wrong was done during the "burning times", when millions
of women and men were hunted, tortured and killed for their beliefs,
which were the indigenous beliefs of the people of Europe. |
| |
| I want to talk to you about this genocide. |
| |
| My sisters and brothers in the "Order of Strength" would be
calmed if you will apologize for the burning of the witches and
declare "ex cathedra", that the "hexenhammer" and the persecution
which followed were erroneous beliefs which caused great fear
and suffering through discriminating, torturing and executing
human beings with different religious beliefs. |

| We expect an official apology for this genocide, in a way
that clearly shows, that you are willing to find a true repair
for the damage done by you and the ones before you in the position
of the Holy See. |
| |
| We expect the Roman Catholic Church to give the land and the
other immense riches they converted to their own use after murdering
their victims, back to us and other pagan organisations. |
| |
| Furthermore members of your organisation usurped some of the
important Celtic sanctuaries. We want to officially use them
together with believers of your religion again. |
| |
| During these pseudo-trials, torturings and murders of our
priestesses and priests the representatives of the Roman Catholic
Church extorted much spiritual knowledge from the victims. We
are still missing this lost knowledge today. This information
is still concealed from us and the public by your organisation.
We want you to open a public library about this, so that we and
interested scientists can study the missing knowledge. A task
force of members of our society and your designates should be
formed to work out the details for this library. |

| I am sure we can find an agreement about these topics in a
personal dialogue. We want to find a way for a peaceful co-existence
in the future, and hope that you share the dream of reconciliation. |

| I heartily invite you to come to Kerschenbach [Deutschland]
to create a concerted service and prayers for a blessed way into
the future. |

| We will open this letter to the public in 4 to 6 weeks. |
