Public session

During the public session, Darla Wynne presented each council member with a letter voicing her concerns of Ross. Wynne's letter stated Ross violated the town's newly enacted prayer policy at last month's meeting and addressed Ross' recent convictions.

In her letter, Wynne described Ross as a criminal and requested council take action to remove him from office.

Wynne presented each council member with a copy of her letter. As she reached Ross, he replied "I don't want your garbage."

Wynne asked if action had been taken against Ross and the mayor replied no.

Wynne also presented each council member with a copy of a letter she received from Hilton.

In the letter, Hilton told Wynne she was correct in the fact Ross violated the town's recently enacted policy. "Mr. Brian Gibbons, the town's attorney and official parliamentarian, should have stopped Mr. Ross," Hilton's letter stated. "He did not. While I wish I could assure that you will not ever have to endure that type of un-professionalism in a town council meeting where you are a taxpaying resident, I can't. Please note that if you choose to attend future town council meetings, I will do my personal best to see that Roberts Rules of Order are adhered to and that all citizens are treated with dignity," the letter further stated.

After Wynne's presentation, Ross said he would like to respond.

"Then don't be a coward. Respond to me," Wynne said.

"It is quiet evident," Ross said. Following a short pause, Ross continued, "No, I'm not going to."
