INTRODUCING JENNIFER WARNOCK |
Jennifer Warnock is a diverse young Canadian, openly Pagan, who actively promotes her way of life. Through her dedication as a wife and mother she encourages her friends, family and community to live life through acts of kindness. Jennifer has recently made the shift from solitary practitioner to public advocate, not necessarily through choice but born of the obvious need for strong community leaders and positive influence in the public sector. Jennifer's experience with community events dates back to the 1994 Commonwealth Games in which she participated as one of Canada's Youth Ambassadors. She corresponded with youth from around the globe on topics of children's rights and helped to develop the activities for children and families for the 1994 event. Jennifer's commitment to fairness has not made her life easy. Often outspoken, she is not afraid to take a stand against injustice and has on several occasions fought either for her own rights or for those who could not stand up for themselves. Jennifer has studied formally in the areas of language, culture and media, having graduated from Camosun College and Victoria Motion Picture School. She has participated in the production of several Canadian made films and documentaries, as well as many international cultural exchanges. Jennifer is a facilitator of two national and one international Pagan networking groups. She is always available for anyone who needs help finding resources and takes pride in being able to connect with people in our global and local communities. Jennifer Warnock's sense of responsibility to her family extends beyond her home to include anyone in need. Her connection to the earth and the many obstacles she has overcome has charged her with the task of helping others to find the means necessary to live a spiritually free life. Jennifer's kind heart and acceptance of cultural diversity has warranted her recognition from her peers and community as a leader and role model. In years to come she plans to take many journeys to further her work as an advocate for freedom and peace at personal, national and global levels. |
