1) "Gift for a Gift", Tru' Spirit
Interview with Jonathan Cyr By Christopher Blackwell

Several people have recommended Jonathan Carr of Tru' Spirit, including Hauk another Heathen Musician, so I got in touch with Jonathan to find out more about him, Tru' Spirit, and the latest album Gift for a Gift.

Christopher: Could you tell us a bit about yourself?

Jonathan: I live on a small 4 acre farm in Maine with my beautiful wife Carrie and our three children: Danielle, Sam and Collin. Although we have our 9 to 5 jobs, we do run the farm on the side for profit so it is a little more than a hobby. The kids are busy with sports and I'm taking classes at the local college.

2) Skaldic Hearth Kin
Winter Wassail - Interview with Hauk Heimdallsman and Denise Bowen By Christopher blackwell

When I started using the interview articles in ACTION Samhain of 2008, the second person I interviewed was Hauk Heimdallsman of the group Hauk a heavy metal Heathen band. It was an interesting interview because Hauk helps break any stereotypes about a Heavy Metal musician and song writer including him having full training in classical music, classical orchestrations and having worked for years with the Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra. Then he took off to create his music.

So I decided to contact him again and see what he had been doing since only to discover that his latest project was doing Wassail songs with a group called Skaldic Hearth Kin. This is how I came to hear about Denise so this was a story that was going to need both of them. So I asked her as well for a interview. So lets find out what this is all about.

3) Runes, Runewebvitki, Nortvegr
Interview with Rig Svenson By Christopher Blackwell

When one of the people I know suggested Rig, she described him as a author and scholar in England and is a Rune expert in addition to a Seer. That was enough to get me interested so I contacted him and was granted permission for this interview.

Christopher: Can you give us a bit of background about yourself.

Rig: I was born during the last ebbing days of the former colonies belonging to what was once the British Empire before the UK politicians gave it all away. So I guess you can say that I am a Colonial Brit, a rare breed these days at least in Britain.

4) Spiritual Protection
Interview with author Sophie Riecher By Christopher Blackwell

I was told of Sophie Riecher as an author of a book called Spiritual Protection. In reading more about her, I learned a bit more and decided to interview her.

Christopher: Could you give us just a bit of basic background of yourself?

Sophie: Well, I'm second generation American of German and Austrian stock (with a bit of Celt from my mother). I'm been a practicing occultist since I was 17, though the first few years were spent largely bumbling around in the dark like a fool; and I've been Heathen since I was 23 or 24 (it didn't happen all at once, so it's rather difficult to pin an exact date on it). I currently live with my family in the Northeast.

5) Ancient Music Ancient Instruments
Interview with Kate Fletcher and Corwen ap Broch By Christopher Blackwell

I am always asking for suggestions of whom to interview. This includes from the people I have done interviews with. Damh the Bard suggested that I might find Kate Fletcher and Corwen ap Broch might be interesting.

As I checked out their web site I felt that anyone that made over thousand year old instruments and played them with songs of the era, had to be interesting. I asked for an interview and they kindly gave permission.

Christopher: Could each of you give a bit of back ground about yourselves? I note that both seem to like to wander a bit.

6) History, Professor, Temple, Seminary
Interview with Dr. Candace Kant By Christopher Blackwell

I had a reader mention that I should interview Dr. Candace Kant. So I started with just the knowledge that she was connected with a Temple in Nevada and began to google up what I could find. The more information I could find the more interesting that she got and I decided this was a person I wanted to know a bit about. So I contacted her and she kindly gave me permission to do this interview.

Christopher: Could you give us a bit of back ground information about yourself?

Candace: I have Bachelors, Masters and Ph.D. degrees in History and have taught history, women's studies and religious studies courses at the College of Southern Nevada since 1976, including such classes as History of Witchcraft, Goddess Traditions, Introduction to Modern Paganism, and Modern Pagan Thought. After 32 years of teaching I retired in 2008, and my colleagues gave me the title of Emerita.

7) Crossroads Tabernacle Church - ATC
Interview with Robert Keefer By Christopher Blackwell

I was told about the high priest over at Crossroads Tabernacle Church, Robert Keefer, who among other things is the first Wiccan to be appointed to the Michigan Department of Corrections Chaplains Advisory Council and also the winner of the 2010 Danessa Smith Award for Activism in the Pagan Community from the Federation of Circles and Solitaries. Sounded like an interesting person to learn about so I arranged to interview him.

Christopher: Could you give us a bit of back ground about yourself?
